Rejected petition Restore the RAF Hornchurch Memorial Stone back to its original resting place.
Through the work of the late Ted Exall a publicly funded memorial stone was erected in the grounds of the R J Mitchell school, it was placed where the gates once stood in memory of all that served at RAF Hornchurch, the stone has now been moved without real consultation to a less prominent site.

A letter to the Romford Recorder from the late Ted Exall's son has also been sent saying that the family have not given there blessing
