Those within the Emergency Services, and those in the Armed Forces (be that the Navy, Army or Air Force) put their lives at risk on a daily basis, and for their efforts they hardly get a worthwhile wage.

Footballers on the other hand, who do nothing to protect the country go home with a large pay packet, all for kicking a round object across some grass.

Footballers (who are mere entertainers) and earn far too much, should be taxed higher. The taxed money can then go toward both the government debts, and toward those who are putting their lives on the line for our country.
