Bring in the mechanism where all Judges and magistrates should are elected by the electorate for a fixed period of time.
Thus allowing the electorate to choose the judges that best reflect popular opinion.

Magistrates could be added to local council election ballot slips and Crown Court and other Judges to Parlimentary Election slips.
