Rejected petition I would like to petition for an early 2016 Referendum on the European Union

As a mother and grandmother of this once great nation, I am afraid for my family and my future generations. This is not the country I grew up in. I was proud to call England my home. I don't recognise my home anymore. The EU has taken my hopes and dreams for the future and threw them away

I am ashamed of the way my fellow patriots have been lied to over the European Union. I remember when it was called the common market, what happened? We the people never voted for the EU. We the people never voted to give our rights and freedoms away to other countries. We the people need to stop this dictatorship and put the Great back into Great Britain
