Student Nurses receive a reduced maintenance loan in their final year due to recent changes. The reduction is due to the fact other courses finish in May. Student Nurses do not finish until august. The reduction of at least £513 leave many questioning whether they will be able to complete the course

Student nurses don't complete their course in May, June, but are in fact working on placement until mid August. The students of nursing degrees will be working full-time on their final healthcare placement and there will be no time or opportunity to work.

Student nurses have to meet many additional costs throughout their studies and this reduction is unfair
