Rejected petition Transport all refugees of middle eastern war zones to the USA
The descent of strategically important middle eastern countries into violent chaos has created a refugee problem. The urgency of this problem is higher for nations with proximity to it. The responsibility for causing the problem is not.

It's not fair to blame all the problems of the Middle East on the nation with military control over most of it that has been carpet bombing it and flooding it with weapons fairly consistently for over a decade.
It is however generally true of any nation that their their appetite for a war is increased when that war is very far away. There might therefore be more hope for peace in this region if the USA were to experience the cost of these conflicts in more ways than just soldiers and taxes.
