Political parties in Belgium are paid by the state according to how many votes they got at the last election. No big businesses are allowed to contribute to any political party, for obvious reasons.

Why do we put up with the big business here in the UK buying considerations for their business interests?

Should we not change the law to have the state pay every political party in Britain and outlaw businesses donating to them?
