Petition We need more police! We need to see them on the streets and driving around!

I live in a town with a population of atleast 149,108. How often do we see police officers walking the streets? Never. How long does it take for them to assist 30 minutes to 1week! Crime levels on the rise! People don't go out and use our local pubs anymore for fear of being stabbed or bottled.

In march 2012 it was 9.52

If these crimes can triple in 3 years and police forces are being reduced and given more paper work what does the future hold? It scares the living day lights out of me! We need our taxes used appropriately! You've saved money turning street lights off which on a Friday and Saturday night is ridiculous! We have too many traffic police! This country is failing it's people!
