Rejected petition Sainsburys Supermarket are refusing to install defibrillators
Sainsburys Supermarkets are refusing to have in store defibrillators stating that their staff are CPR trained. As a retired paramedic I find this hard to understand in this day and age. To the Chairman, please reconsider your decision as this really could save someone's life!!!

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
You could write to Sainsbury's to raise this issue directly.
Alternatively, if you wanted Parliament to legislate to require retail businesses to install defibrillators, you could start a petition about that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
