Currently there's no regulation on how much agencies are allowed to charge per calendar month. Therefor prices are getting higher and even when already in tenancy increases are above the rate of inflation.

Rental cost is normally higher then mortgage repayments. Young people and families are struggling to save for deposit to buy property.
