Petition Simplifying driveway laws
More details
Because the current legislations regarding blocking of driveways is very unclear and difficult to enforce, I would like to propose that the white lines used to highlight a driveway entrance which currently have no legal status are made a compulsory 'no parking' restriction.
This would simplify the law, make it clear, if you are parked on the white lines, therefore obstructing a driveway you will be ticketed.
It requires no outlay by councils, and would cost nothing extra to police.
