Rejected petition Make meningitis b vaccine free to all children in England

Meningitis B is now routinely available to all babies under 12 months. Any child older will not be able to get it on the NHS and parents will have to pay privately. It would be mutiple doses per child.

There are around 3200 cases of meningitis cases each year. The vaccine costs around £20 to produce yet private companies are charging 400% or more. The more demand there is the cheaper it would be. I'd like my taxes to go towards my childs health not in the pockets of mps for their expenses.
