Rejected petition More control over Cyclist

The police need to control people who cycle. Repeatedly I see cyclist riding through red light. Cycle have no light or bells yet no action is taken against cyclist. For better control of cyclist we should follow the example of some EU countries where cyclist must register their cycles and display a number plate, have them taxed and have insurance. Cyclist are road users and should be policed correctly.
