Rejected petition Ensure Dippy the Diplodocus remains in the Natural History Museum's main hall
Dippy the Diplodocus has been on public display in the Natural History Museum for 110 years.
During that time Dippy has inspired generations of schoolchildren and reminds everyone to look after our planet's future.
But now, Dippy is being removed. We demand Dippy remains in the main, Hintze Hall.
More details
Having been its centrepiece for the last 35 years, Dippy is being removed from the Natural History Museum's main hall.
Dippy is a much loved and important British monument. Dippy is instantly recognisable and adored across the world.
Replacing Dippy with a blue whale skeleton would threaten this legacy. Future generations deserve to be amazed by the past and how Earth has evolved, just like their parents and grandparents.
Dippy must be saved and remain in the main Hintze Hall forever.
