Rejected petition Ban all Christmas-themed advertisements, except during the month of December.
The 12 Days of Christmas has become the 60 days of Christmas. Christmas adverts now appear on TV, radio and in print, beginning in late-October. Why? No other festival requires such intensive marketing. The hype is eroding the 'magic' of Christmas, for religious and secular observers alike.
