Petition Bring Forward Legislation For A Televised Public Prime Ministers Question
Bring forward legislation to expand Prime Ministers Questions to a 3 hour televised Q&A session with questions submitted directly from the General Electorate and chosen by a committee comprised of members of opposition parties ONLY.
More details
Prime Ministers Questions is the equivalent of a political football match and gives no representation to the general public. The prime minister cannot be held to account by the general electorate. We the public do hereby demand that there be a 2 hour televised slot every month where the general public can submit questions to the prime minister which he must answer or be pressed by a presenter. These questions would be selected by a committee of opposition MP's and the tories would have no influence on the selection.
