Rejected petition Ban the advertisement of Christmas-related goods before the 1st December.
Christmas adverts have started in earnest regardless of the fact that we are still in early November. The holiday now occupies anything between one-sixth and one quarter of the year, and it's too much.

The Government may not be able to ban what retailers sell and when, but they do have the ability to restrict Christmas-themed adverts to the month of December.
The season is becoming increasingly cynical and unenjoyable. Please help us take the first step to reversing this.
