Petition We believe that lying in parliament should be a criminal offence

Parliament has become so detached from the real world. We believe that laws need to be in place to stop mps from passing laws on the back of clear lies. We don't want studies that have been done by the government to be ignored as they don't fit the party line.

Whenever mps distort the truth for political gain it is the public as a whole that suffers. We would appreciate it if laws would fit the evidence and not be used for political gain.
