Petition Make realistic advances on the political policies regarding the Middle East.

I feel that it is time a realistic cause be united behind, while it is totally impractical to "close our borders" and to "welcome all refugees", I believe we can all agree that the political leadership of the United Kingdom has been weak and ill positioned in recent months, shape up, or I'll do it.

Simply bombing in Iraq [and Syria] is impractical, and is failing policy, we need to work with the respective governments to secure their civilian cities, towns and industries, so that refugees have no reason to flee, and can begin returning to a safe place they can call home.

Secondly, instead of cold shouldering Russia, we should actually work with them, I'm sure Putin would be happy to work with the West if we actually share information, and tell them what our intentions are.
