Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not sure what you mean by "make cyclists identifiable". If you would like Parliament to change the law - for example, to require cyclists to give their name and address in the event of an accident - you could start a petition calling for that.

In addition, enforcing the law is the responsibility of the police and the courts, not the Government and Parliament. If you think that the law should be changed or reviewed so that it is more easily enforceable, you could start a petition calling for that.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
