Any citizens thrown in to debt as a result of the credit crunch should have this stricken from their record.
I lost my job as a result of the credit crunch and then was unable to pay some bills, which has lead to my credit file being almost black-listed.

I was not responsible for the credit crunch and do not understand why I should be held accountable for it, I'm paying for someone else's mistake and this is having a negative impact on my standard of living.

The persons involved, the Government and banks (like RBS) should take some responsibility for their mistakes and stop lumping everyone else with their debt.
