Petition Establish Education Skills Development Centres for the Unemployed

Require that Local Government and local and national businesses provide Education Skills Development Centres for the Unemployed and mandate that unemployed persons attend appropriate training and education in accordance with their needs, eg literacy, manual skills, numeracy, over a significant portion of the week as a condition for receiving state benefits.
The creation of such centres would have the benefit of stimulating the construction industry, provide employment for trainers and educators, enable local communities to engage with the unemployed, and provide the unemployed with personally focussed training and educational development.
