Petition Allow the public to vote on any any matter voted on by the houses of parliament
On 2/12/2015 the goverment were able to make a decision that would affect British people, put them at risk and assosciate all british people with the decision made by parlimentary individuals. I wondered: if the British public are what the goverment are defending why did we not have a say ourselves?

How hard would it be to have asked the public? They have opinion polls, why not have an official poll so the people the politicians 'represent' are correctly represented. Politicians are not the most intelligent, empathetic and caring that humanity has to offer... if they were they wouldn't be politicians! If we love in a true democracy everyone of all breeds and creeds should have a say... but do we?
