Petition Recognise the Sacrifice made by TA Soldiers in 1965 Aden Radfan.

In 1965 members of 300 Parachute Squadron 131 Parachute Engineer Regiment TA deployed to Aden, Radfan. Men were killed, wounded.
The men of 131 readily volunteered to serve in this theatre.
They have never been recognised for their service by receiving their GSM General Service Medal !!

The way the MOD awards medals is in my own humble opinion is wrong.
There are many examples I have saw in person when service personal receives medals for an operation without having set foot in the theatre country. Gulf- Cyprus. Bosnia- Croatia, Adriatic
131 Para Engr regt had men killed and wounded in action with the enemy. Yet they never received their GSM and 50 years later they are still not recognised. To this day the MOD are giving them the "run around".
