Rejected petition Reduce excessive Advertising and Offers on Alcohol

In 2014 statistics show that 114,920 aged 18 and upwards accessed treatment for Alcohol dependency, this doesn't include the numbers of people still in active addiction or in recovery after treatment.
In order to Reduce Addiction & Aid Recovery this could be the first step.

More details

Currently Alcohol misuse costs the country 21 Billion pounds a year, 3.5 Billion in NHS costs, 11 Billion is attributed to crime & 6.5 Billion in lost productivity, this potentially costs each Tax payer £120 per year.
Also Alcohol is 61% cheaper than it was in 1980.
I myself am a recovering addict an believe reducing excessive advertising and offers will benefit everyone currently in recovery and reduce the risks of future generations becoming dependant.
