Halal butchers are immune from the law against slaughtering animals without pre stunning them, its blatantly wrong.

It is unacceptable, that innocent animals can be tortured to death in this way. Animals should be pre stunned and killed without pain! Most animals killed in the way of halal, are still alive up to 5 minutes after their throats sliced and even concious when they are being gutted/ skinned, some cows even try and stand up.
80% of the meat sold in the uk is Halal. On asda meat packaging you can see the small letters HMA next to the used by date, this means halal monitoring authority. Help stop this
