It should be made a criminal offence for anyone in the United Kingdom to conceal their identity by covering their faces with hoods, scarves, balaclavas etc. thereby preventing the Police from identifying and charging offenders. The proposal to give the Police more powers to ASK suspected criminals to remove face coverings is totally impractical and will not work.
