This, and previous governments, have taken it upon themselves to promote the improvement of the nations health. Basic Rate relief on gym membership fees would
i) be consistent with this belief
ii) reduce NHS costs in treating many conditions that an improvement in overall fitness would prevent or reduce the seriousness of
iii) provide a boost for this sector of business
