Rejected petition De-activate traffic lights on roundabout in areas of low traffic. From 11pm-6am
At times of low traffic density traffic (between 11pm and 6am) lights are not needed on roundabouts and they only act to slow traffic down needlessly.

This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
The Government and Parliament are not responsible for local roads. If your petition is about traffic lights on local roads, then this would be the responsibility of your local council.
You could contact local councillors about this. You can use this page to find out who the local councillors are and how to contact them:
https://www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
You could also start a petition to your local council. Details of how to do this will be available on its website.
If your request is about traffic lights on major roads in England, we could accept a petition specifically about that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
