Rejected petition Cyclists should have insurance when on public Road's/Highways.

I live in London and some Cyclists abuse the road disciplines i.e. total disregard for motorists and pedestrians alike, often not obeying traffic signals damaging vehicles and injuring many due to the excessive speed and carelessness therefore third party insurance is essential.

Nearly every day you here of an incident involving cyclists damaging parked vehicles or stationary one's stuck in traffic. It is imperative that some sort of insurance is in place for the safety of the general public and pedestrians, motorists as well as for theirselves.
