On the 1st and 2nd night the police did not crack down on the rioters which lead to millions of pounds of damge and loss of life and wide spread panic.
Who ever is/are responsable should be taken before a judge and if found guilty of causing loss of life damage to buildings etc due to inaction, then they should go to jail for as long as the Judge sees fit.
There needs to be a change, people in high politically charged seats should not just stand down from there post but should be punished if they have failed. If it was the Head of the Police or a Politician or a Lawyer it should make no Difference.
