In order to avail property to market for first-time buyers and curb housing price inflation, Government should offer a moratorium on capital gains tax for Landlords and developers selling to first time buyers.

By reducing the tax liability on landlords and developers we may be able to encourage them to sell their properties to first time buyers. With such an inactive Landlords and Developers will be attracted to the prospect and consequently avail more property to market. Using the market forces in this manner we will certainly see a curbing effect on house price inflation.
