Petition Ask Michael Gove MP to reply to my letter about Prison Officers.

Michael Gove MP made the following statement about Prison Officers wearing body cameras when dealing with prisoners: “it also means that any individual prison officer is more likely to behave appropriately and decently as well.” I believe that this statement was unprofessional and derogatory.

I would like Michael Gove to have the courtesy to reply to my letter and explain why he said what he did about the professionalism of Prison Officers.

I have also sent the letter to the Parliamentary Select Committee for Justice to ask them to challenge Mr Gove about his statements and why I have not had the courtesy of a reply!
