Petition Make the police using mobile phones whilst driving a criminal offence.

I do not see why the police should be exempt from prosecution for the offense of using a telephone or a 2 way radio whilst driving. They are just as prone to distraction and therefore dangerous driving as the rest of us. Even more so in some cases especially when in pursuit of an offending vehicle.
