Rejected petition Stop excessive charging for soft drinks for designated drivers
Designated drivers should be encouraged to drink non-alcoholic drinks and should not be ripped off or taken advantage of just because they are following the 'do not drink and drive' policy
More details
Twice this week, I have had to pay more than £3.50 for a pint of coke - the draught sort, not bottled- whilst my partner has paid £3.40-£3.60 for a pint of beer.
This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
It's up to pubs/bars to set the prices they charge for different kinds of drink, not the Government or Parliament.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
