The UK government should commit to respecting the key festivals of all major worldwide faiths by agreeing a general ceasefire and temporary halt to military operations during those festivals, allowing the civilian population of each war torn nation the opportunity to honour their faith in peace.

The UK Government has the ability to extend an olive branch to people of all faiths and nations by allowing civilians the opportunity to freely, and peacefully celebrate key religious festivals.
