Closed petition Harsher punishments for child sex offenders

Too often the news is reporting on individuals who have been found guilty of sex crimes against children, and their sentences always appear to be disproportionatly soft when considering not only the physical but the mental harm inflicted upon their innocent victims.
We demand that harsher sentences are introduced and closer monitoring of released offenders, both measures should act as a deterrent against such heinous crimes against the most vunerable and innocent in our society.
