He has been at the top of his sport for 20+ years, 16 time world champion and breaking many world records. He has given the sport the glitz and glamour we see today going from the small bars and clubs to now massive venues such as the Alexander palace.

He is the most decorated darts player ever and was at the forefront of bringing darts to the sport it is today, he deserves this recognition for all his achievements as I am sure in any other sport they would have been!
