Rejected petition Stop the removal of current areas of unrestricted free parking Minehead harbour

The harbour is used by a strong local contingent for a number of recreational pursuits, coupled with the businesses in the Harbour, all providing employment and investment. The current provision of free parking is crucial to the economic stability & survival of the Harbour community

More details

In other areas of Minehead there is an availability of free parking – for residents, visitors, tourists and businesses alike. Why should this not continue to be the case in Quay Street & Quay Street West?

Why should the Harbour be treated differently, this is both unfair and restrictive, and will put under threat what is at present a much valued community recreational asset.
