Rejected petition Implement a ban on Sharia law & illegal courts in the UK after Judges approval.

I would like to call on people the help obtain a ban on illegal Sharia courts in the UK, following the recent approval for a Bristol Judge to rule on Sharia law cases. It has no place in Western society and oppresses women & non-Muslims.

Following the recent appointment of Judge Shamim Qureshi to oversee & rule on Sharia cases, it has led to an independent review being launched by Theresa May. This is due to fears that it may take away womens rights, leaving them open to 'legal sexual assaults', and that it will discriminate against the 95.8% of the UK population that do not follow Islamic practices.
