Rejected petition Rename Stansfield Road in Brixton to commemorate David Bowie

David Bowie was an extraordinary musician, writer and performer, whose untimely death has created ripples around the world - just as his work did during his lifetime.

Given that he was from Brixton, a small, permanent tribute could be to rename Stansfield Road, where his home was, as Bowie Road.
