We, the undersigned, call upon Her Majesty's Government to disallow MPs from using the e-petition site, as they already have direct influence on matters scheduled for debate in Parliament, via Government processes, Opposition days, and private members bills. MPs should not be allowed to use a system intended to give he public an influence on Parliamentary business, nor should they be permitted to use the site to circumvent the e-petition site rules preventing corporate bodies being named as the sponsor of an e-petition.
