Rejected petition Force company's to reduce petrol and diesel price below 1£ in stations.
Petrol prices have fallen to their lowest since August 2009, helped by fierce supermarket competition bringing a litre below a £1 on all of the Big 4’s forecourts. Diesel prices, although at their lowest since October 2009, have yet to reflect a lower wholesale cost than petrol’s.
