Rejected petition Geno by Dexys to be the new England National Anthem

It has been decided England needs a new National Anthem. I propose this fantastic song by the greatest band ever

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

This isn’t something that the UK Government or Parliament would be able to do. There is at present no anthem for England. The use of the present National Anthem is a matter of tradition rather than having any legal or constitutional status.
