Petition Make it a criminal offence to falsely report someone for benefit fraud.

Anyone can report benefit fraud, but it is concerning that this can be done anonymously and surely leads to malicious reports made simply to cause upset to someone. I believe that it should be an offence to knowingly falsely report someone for benefit fraud as it also wastes DWP time and money.
