In 2014 1,488 unaccompanied refugee children fled homes furthermore in 2015 2,168 a rise of 46% in one year. Government funding is requested for a website that speeds up the process for fostering unaccompanied asylum seeking children.

The government is currently considering charities' calls for the UK to admit 3000 child refugees. There is a fostering process in place but this website will encourage the already growing desire to help the unaccompanied child refugees. It will be faster because it is all electronic with no papers involved.
