Rejected petition Make Oxford's Port Meadow an international Dark Sky area with no light pollution

When I first came to Oxford 30 years ago, Port Meadow was completely dark at night, allowing the night sky and star constellations to be seen clearly, and wildlife to be left in peace. This wonderful darkness reserve is now being seriously threatened by development and LED technology.
