Petition Oppose UN Recognition of a Palestinian State
More details
The governing groups of the palestinian authority, Fatah and Hamas - a terrorist organisation that frequently murders Israeli civilians, and does not recognise the Jewish states right to exist - are going to request recognition of statehood at the 66th general assembly of the UN opening on the 20th September this year.
They will request recognition of all the land outside of the abitrarily drawn armistice lines after the peace deal to end the 6 days war 1967 - though many anti-Israel groups claim these are borders the UN resolution at the time specifically stated that they were not to be considered borders.
Considering that much of this land belongs to Israel, still further that Israel is the only democracy in the middle east whereas the Palestinian Authority is now part governed by a terrorist group our UN security council vote should be used against their proposition.
