Petition Reduce autism assessment waiting times

Families are often left waiting 2-3years for an autism assessment leaving families with little or no support. No other neurological defect has a waiting time of years. Autism is the only assessment that has the highest waiting times below organ transplants.

The national autistic society have a campaign to bring waiting times down.

I myself have been on itv news to raise this issue and feel it's not acceptable to make children or parents wait this long to simply understand their children better. Things need to change.
