National service is a common name for a system of compulsory government service (usually military service, also known as conscription). The term became standard British usage after the National Service (Armed Forces) Act 1939 and has been applied to such voluntary enrolments as the US Peace Corps.

Having been on both sides of the coin as a troubled teenager and a brief army life made me realise the errors of my ways an set me on a path Iv continued to follow. young people should do national service no matter what religion or ethnic background this will also help with multiculturalism and integration that this country desperately needs. unity is what we need respect is what we demand and integration is imperative.
